Mike's Journal
DAY 27
DATE: Saturday, September 17, 2012
TIME: 11:01pm
A. OPENING THOUGHTS/OBSERVATIONS:
Been seeing the number “8” pop up every where. My car’s mileage hit 188,888 today. Eights have been in my dreams. I relate to this number as representing abundance and power - something I feel my ego is now tempting me with in order to allow me to lose sight of what I worked for. I'm confronting my ego, that which I perceived held power over me, just as predicted in this Quest as well as the entire Hero's Journey process.
Today I will set new intentions for a new potential thirty day Quest to be embarked on at the conclusion of this one. I can personally assess whether or not this feels like the right Quest for me, one that will inspire me as much as this past one has or possibly more more so.
My emotional exercises will be dedicated to outlining the chapters of this book. This way I will be motivated to “fill in the spaces” which I'll create today. My four intentions had been accomplished. I have gone three days of monitoring my desires and started writing this book after intentional meditation. Finally, I have completed my emails to the people I wanted to contact in my life.
The Boon of this Quest: Everything I write down should be considered an act of giving. My spirituality and desire to communicate are riches that I seek to give willingly and infinitely. Therefore, my future Quests revolving around making this a career will guide me to being able to receive abundant blessings as well. Every thing I want to feel, and the intensity in which I want to feel it, is a Quest waiting for me to take.
The information in this book is the Boon of my Quest. I now take it out in order to share with others, to inspire new Quests, and use this work as a bridge to help overcome the ego.
B. DREAM ENTRY
Everything was in “8’s”. Especially the sideways “8” (the sign of infinity) which appears in the Magician Tarot cards. I’m ready to manifest a new Quest based on the work of this book.
C. Simply stated, you are to journal between sets
what action steps you have already taken in completing your Quest. If
it’s something you have to do in your spare time, use the “Active Rest”
periods to complete what you need to do. (For example, I started writing
this book during my Emotional Exercises in this chapter.) The next
three days are about action. Bring it home!
